01 · Habitat

Where Get Out There lives.

The Department of Justice and the Attorney General (DJAG) helps school leavers get ready for life after school. It used to do this with printed brochures.

02 · Pressure

What buyers needed.

The brochures did not engage young people, and they were costly to keep up.

DJAG wanted an interactive website that would speak to school leavers and university students. The information had to feel fun, draw people in and get them to take part.

03 · Adaptation

What we changed.

We designed and built a quasi-virtual world for students to explore.

It is an animated, isometric cityscape. As students move around and interact with it, they find the educational content naturally.

04 · Selection

What happened next.

Students now explore a virtual city and interact with the content in a meaningful way, in place of a printed booklet.
